SKETCHBOOK SUPPLIES
Here are all the fabrics I currently have that I can bind books with!
Fabrics with large amounts: mustard yellow, tan, light blue, beach print, pink fortune cookie and rice bowl print, blue and pink delicate plaid. Fabrics with enough for one or two covers: light pink, leopard print, blue zebra print, brown, tie-dye.
Fabric that can be used for embellishments or spine strips only: blue with yellow stars, silver, bronze-black metallic, yellow and green flower print, black and blue rose print, fuchsia fur, fuchsia silk, green plaid, red and green plaid, fish print, gold. I also have a great deal of brown vellum that’s too thick and unwieldy to bind a full book with, but can be used for spine strips or other embellishments upon request.
Miscellaneous supplies for embellishments: red ribbon, pink ribbon, lace strips, pink green and blue thick ribbon, silver thick ribbon, animal print plastic washers. There are probably also more ribbons and lace bits that are packed away, but these are the ones readily at my disposal.
Commissions for sketchbooks are not currently open given I don’t have the heavy duty cardboard for the covers yet.
They will be put together with 20 lb weight copy paper as that’s the only type of paper I have a great deal of that’s affordable to work with. Books will be the size of an 8.5x11 sheet of paper folded in half.
Estimated cost at this point is $15 to $20, shipping not included.
